- Promote ecologically sustainable development and environmentally responsible neighborhoods,
- Safeguard nature and people from environmentally and socially irresponsible activities and human rights violations,
- Promote community participation in decision making in natural resources and,
- Promote environmental justice and equity through legal and other means.
