As the Bangsamoro edges closer to its long-held aspiration for full autonomy, non-Moro Indigenous Peoples (NMIPs) are in danger of becoming  a “minority within a minority.” In the past few months, hundreds of Teduray and Lambangian families have been displaced by skirmishes  between the government and secessionist forces. For as long as the land rights of NMIPs are unrecognized, inclusive peace in Mindanao will remain elusive. Legal Rights and Natural Resources Center (LRC) produced a video on the situation of displaced NMIPs in Maguindanao amid the already crushing pandemic.
